Slumping

I hate that I am not motivated.  I am unbalanced in my efforts.  Yes money pays the bills but what does it matter if I "keel over" from a heart attack.  I need to get my "stuff" together.

You Are In Control

Emotions.  YOU are in control of them.  Tony Robbins tells others to change their state of mind.  "Get your state". 

Find the silver lining or completely think of something else that changes your mood.

Jocko Willink says "GOOD" when something tough, challenging or otherwise perceived negative happens.  He finds the positive in the event.

An example Tony Robbins gives is that one time at a retreat while he and others were trying to talk a train would come by their facility a few times a day.  People would be annoyed with the sound of the train especially its horn.  Tony's solution was that every time the train came by the group would force a hard laugh, which became a real laugh at their silliness.  Eventually people were looking forward to the train coming by.

So BE IN CONTROL  Control your thoughts and control your emotions.
